Little Miss Hothead: A black blasted Strawberry

£375.00
sold out

Something of a drama queen, Little Miss Hothead’s name was inspired by the eye-catching centrepiece of the pipe, a handmade lampwork glass bead by Bianca Grubber. The bead's complementary colours are echoed in the stem and the raised ring that separates the ornamental from the deep black blast of the stummel.

It is made from Mimmo Italian briar, with a stainless steel reinforcing tube, that also acts as the reverse tenon. The glass bead is handmade by @biancagruberglass, it’s bedded into place using ebonite and acrylic rings, a little polymer clay and UV resin, and an acrylic ring between the bead and briar. The stem is SEM limited edition Parrot ebonite with a Delrin-lined mortise.
