A Stylised Cutty in Morta with Tiffany Casein
This version of my stylised cutty features a green Tiffany Casein shank and a very hard and tightly-grained morta stummel.
The long pencil-thin Tiffany Casein shank has a carbon fibre reinforcing tube running through it which also acts as a reverse tenon that not only adds strength but also allows the stem to be removed even whilst being smoked, and at just 32 grams and 157mm long this is a lightweight for its size.
The bowl is morta and the grey stem is SEM limited edition Male ebonite with a Delrin-lined mortise. The two green bands are made from acrylic and the shank is Tiffany Casein.
Please note that this is a lightweight pipe with relatively thin chamber walls (10mm at the thickest central point to 5mm at the bottom of the chamber) and therefore depending on how or what you smoke the bowl may get hot to the touch. Also note the photos were taken outside on a cloudy afternoon after the rainfall so the colours may differ in other light settings.
